Hi, I’m Ashlee

I am a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in America.

I have been working in the veterinary industry for 11 years, with 10 of those years being dedicated to canine rehabilitation. I have always had a deep love of animals, which I have been so grateful to have been able to make a career out of.

I am so passionate about helping animals to live the life they deserve and to helping them to be more comfortable and mobile. With so many treatment options available to humans, let’s bridge the gap and provide our animals with the same level of care and empathy.

I can’t wait to come on the journey with you and your pet, they really do become like one of my own!

Are you out there searching for a better level of care for your pet?

Whether it be for general wellbeing and preventative care, recovery support post surgery or injury, or that extra something to help them through their later years, I’m here to help!

For the past 10 years my work has allowed me to support so many beautiful animals and their humans through some very daunting and stressful situations.

Every pet and their needs are very different and you can be guaranteed with Canine Freedom and Mobility that your program will be customised for your pet to be able to achieve the best outcome possible.

I started out my working career in the hair and beauty industry, but feeling unfulfilled had me searching for something more, and that’s when I came across Canine Rehabilitation, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Canine Rehabilitation is still an emerging field in Australia, and I am lucky enough to have been a part of it for more than 10 years now, having gone to America in 2016 to further my education and gain my certification through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute.

Not only has this career been able to allow me to help others and their animals, it also allowed me to give my own dog the best life possible after being born with hip dysplasia which lead to bilateral ruptured cruciates and many other musculoskeletal injuries throughout her life, but every time she fell apart, we were able to put her back together, so that she could continue to live her crazy bulldog/boxer life!

If you’ve been struggling with your pets' mobility and having trouble finding someone that can help, look no further.

I work in conjunction with GP Veterinarians, Musculoskeletal Veterinarians and other animal care providers, to ensure we are looking at all aspects of your pets wellbeing, and open up as many treatment options such as rehabilitation modalities, orthotics and prosthetics, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical and regenerative medicine.

Let your mind be opened to the world of Exercise Rehabilitation and the wonderful outcomes it can provide your pet with.
